Project: Pieter Plunker Flying Tailor
Peter Dennis
Illustrator - Story Teller

Peter Dennis is an illustrator who has been working on books for children and adults for over forty years. A life-long interest in History helped him to channel his work in that direction from the early days of his career and currently he specialises in military subjects of all eras. He illustrated the monumental ‘Family Bible’ and many history books for Dorling Kindersley, well over a hundred titles for Osprey publishing and has explanatory drawings in the new Gettysburg visitor centre.
‘Pieter Plunker’, Peter’s connection with Theatre Rue, was the result of a short-lived and rather painful interest in Hang Gliding, and a desire to see if the work of Breughel would combine with the Beano to tell a fanciful tale.
He lives In Mansfield, near Sherwood Forest in Nottinghamshire.
